Title: Scratch Lite/Glitter

Level: 6th Grade

Description: Scratch art can lead to some very interesting patterns and compositions. While exploring with this new material, students will also be exposed to a new concept of overlapping and having a focal point in a composition.

Materials:

Drawing pencils

Erasers

manila paper

Wood tools

Scratch Art paper

 

Objectives:

bulletStudents will be able to make an artistic decision about whether or not to use a focal point.

Day One:

Day Three:

bulletTransfer plan to paper
bulletDemo on how to remove black material to reveal color/glitter.
